Penelope is 65 days old

Penelope had an exciting morning.  She usually goes back to sleep after breakfast but today she decided to stay awake and check out what she had been missing.  She was very alert during rounds and charmed everyone with her beautiful eyes.  One of my girlfriends stopped by for a visit later in the morning and Penelope got to have lunch with her (really, Penelope ate and my friend watched).  Also, the hospital's music therapist stopped by with her guitar and sang some songs for Penelope.  That last part was a little strange but very interesting.  Penelope's morning was so exciting that she couldn't stay awake for her mid afternoon feeding. 

She had an excellent night without any episodes, although she's had a couple today.  Earlier this week she was having several episodes per feeding and today she has only had one each time.  At least this is an improvement.  She gained 20g and now weighs 2390g, which is about 5.25lbs.
