Penelope is 64 days old

The game of waiting out the bradycardia and desats continues.  Yesterday evening, she had several bradies after I gave her a bottle.  She had a few today as well.  Her team has a couple of theories as to what may be causing them and will test them one at a time.  The most likely cause, however, is just that she is premature and the episodes will go away with time (follow this link for an explanation of bradycardia and this link for an explanation of desaturation).  Otherwise, she is doing great!

Penelope's weight didn't increase so she weighs the same as yesterday.  Her cuteness does increase by the day, though.  Her cheeks are enormous; she's our little chipmunk. 

At the apartment, we continue to make preparations and have boxes of baby items all over the living room.  She won't need much when she gets home, but what she will need is consuming quite a bit of our tiny space. 

And so, the waiting game continues....
